Admitted Students
Once you have been admitted, take these steps on the road to KU:
✓ Request to have your I-20 Express Mailed.
✓ Review Pre-Arrival Information.
✓ Create your online ID.
✓ Contract for on campus housing.
✓ Freshmen and Transfer degree-seeking students--Pay the New Student Fee*
The New Student Fee is not required for:
- Non-degree seeking AEC students
- Non-degree seeking KU Study Abroad Exchange students
- Readmitted students
- All non-degree seeking students
- Graduate students
- Law students
- Student enrolling only in Edwards Campus programs.
*The fee saves a spot at KU for Freshmen and Transfer students, and covers the cost of registration for ISSS Orientation and the KU card. If you live in on-campus housing, $140 is applied to housing costs; if you live off-campus, it's credited toward your tuition and fees. The New Student Fee may be paid any time prior to enrollment.
