Overview

International Student Services (ISS) offers both immigration advising and academic support advising.

F-1 and J-1 Immigration Advising

Our immigration advisors are well-versed in the regulations governing F-1 and J-1 students.  Since 95% of our students are either in F-1 or J-1 status, we only provide the rules and procedures for these two categories online.   Rules are similar, but different for F-1 and J-1 so be certain to reference the appropriate category.

Immigration Advising for Other statuses

Our immigration advising staff is quite knowledgeable about other nonimmigrant categories as well.   Please feel free to make an appointment or come in during walk in hours.  Because of the uniqueness of each category, details are not provided here.

Academic Support Advising

Our academic support advisor can provide resources available if you are struggling with your classes or time management.
