Important Dates for Summer 2014 Students

May 27 (Tuesday)

  • Sign-up for English proficiency assessment and health center check-in appointments begins at Applied English Center (AEC) in 204 Lippincott Hall.
  • Early move-in if contracted for summer on-campus housing in residence hall (Hashinger Hall) or Jayhawker Towers. Additional daily fees apply and must make arrangements in advance by contacting the Department of Student Housing Office at (785) 864-4560 or housing@ku.edu.
    • (Official regular move-in date is June 1.)

May 28 (Wednesday)

  • Latest date to arrive to be able to complete all check-in procedures in time to enroll without paying late fees

May 29 (Thursday) – 3:00 pm

  • Deadline to sign up for English proficiency assessment and health center check-in appointment at Applied English Center (AEC) in 204 Lippincott Hall, if taking AEC test on Friday (May 30).

May 30 (Friday) – 3:00 pm

  • Deadline to sign up for English proficiency assessment and health center check-in appointment at Applied English Center (AEC) in 204 Lippincott Hall, if taking AEC test on Saturday (May 31).

June 1 (Sunday)

  • Residence hall (Hashinger) and Jayhawk Towers officially open for move-in at 8:00 a.m. 

June 2 (Monday) – 8:00 a.m. in the Budig Hall computer lab (room 10)

  • Mandatory International Student Services (ISS) check-in session.  Do NOT be late!

June 2 (Monday)

  • Last day to enroll without paying a late enrollment fee

June 3 (Tuesday)

  • First day of classes
  • $75 late enrollment fee begins for any summer 2014 students not yet enrolled in credit hours
